Counseling Activities for Self-Regulation and Size of the Problem and Reaction

With this engaging and hands-on activity pack, students will learn new self-regulation strategies, how to identify the size of their problems, and how to practice appropriate reactions. Additionally, students will identify ways to solve their problems, differentiate between big and small problems across different situations (home, school, friends, etc), recognize their feelings when they are having a problem, and identify appropriate reactions to their problems. Students will have fun while learning this important self-regulation skill.

BENEFITING STUDENTS

In each activity, students will learn size of the problem skills they can use at home and school. In addition, they will improve self-regulation and learn how to better assess and solve problems.

At a minimum, these activities and lessons allow students to develop self-esteem through participation.
